Today in Mrs. Fischer's class we learned about Martin Luther King, Jr. I already knew that he was a great man who helped to end discrimination against black people--but today we got to hear one of his famous speeches. His "I Have a Dream" speech. It's pretty well known only I had never heard it from beginning to end. Mrs. Fischer showed us a video of Martin Luther King in front of the Washington Monument that is in Washington, DC where the president lives.
