Chewie

Chewie is Lula’s dog who is a chow chow. Chewie and Lula have a very special bond that began when Lula was born and Chewie would lie down in front of her crib and growl at anyone who came near. When Lula began speaking she would call him a lion because his fur looked like a lion’s mane. Since then, he’s been her constant partner and protector. He wears a special collar with “PFZ” (Princess Free Zone) charm.

Naomi

Naomi is Lula’s cousin. They love each other very much and spend a lot of time together along with their families. Naomi and Lula are very different from each other in many ways, but they get along really well…most of the time.

Sasha

Sasha is one of Lula’s best friends. Sasha’s family comes from Columbia. She moved to Lula’s town when she was seven years old and spoke no English. Lula was Sasha’s first true friend in America. Somehow the two figured out how to communicate through their friendship. By the end of her first year in America, Sasha was able to speak English with no problem.

Jibrail

Jibril has been Lula’s best friend since she can remember. Jibril’s parents are very good friends with Lula’s parents and both families get together often and even go on vacation together. Jibril’s background is Indian and his grandparents live with him and his family.

Wesley

Wesley is in Lula’s class. He is also Super Tool Lula’s ultimate nemesis. It is his mission to turn good kids mean by bribing them with things he knows they like, but he has a difficult time when Lula and her friends step in. As Wesley the Wicked, he is the bully who tries to foil Super Tool Lula’s missions to help underdogs while changing the mentality of bullies everywhere. Deep down, though, Wesley really likes Lula and just wants her attention, but he doesn’t know how to show his true feelings and is afraid Lula would laugh at him. Poor Wesley.
